An enriched Merchant Center feed to unlock Google Shopping
Talk about my projectFlow: Shopify store, to Supplemental feed, then Merchant Center, Google Shopping.
Enriched feed
missing attributes filled in, without touching the back office
Source: CSV feed deployed in Merchant Center
Google Merchant Center feed audit and optimization via Simprosys/Shopify. Built a supplemental CSV feed to enrich missing attributes without touching the backend. An underoptimized feed that was capping all Shopping impressions.

01 — The context
Products were piling up GMC disapprovals — non-optimized titles missing required attributes rough categorization. Direct result: capped Shopping impressions and inventory invisible to buyers.
02 — Before / after
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Multiple GMC product disapprovals | Main feed audited and fixed via Simprosys |
| Non-optimized titles for search | CSV supplemental feed for missing attributes |
| Missing required attributes | Titles reformatted to GMC best practices |
| Capped Shopping impressions | Improved product approval rate |
03 — The result
GMC feed live with supplemental feed enriching data without site changes. Products eligible for Shopping campaigns from deployment day — no Shopify-side intervention needed.
04 — My role
Tracking/feed consultant on a one-off mission — audited the main feed and built the supplemental feed without touching the Shopify backend.
05 — What I took away
A supplemental feed is often faster to deploy than a native feed overhaul — a good default when the client doesn't want backend changes.
