SEO consulting
More customers finding you on Google, on Maps and in AI answers, with reporting wired to Search Console and GA4.
Book a callA website Google understands, for the searches your customers make.
A website can be live for years without showing up for the searches that matter. The cause is usually technical or structural: vague titles, pages competing with each other, a half-filled Google Business Profile, a Search Console nobody opens.
I start from the data. What Google actually indexes, the queries you already appear for, and the ones that bring in quote requests or sales. I connect Search Console to GA4 so we track enquiries, not just rankings.
SEO is already included in every website I build. This service is for websites that are already live, built by me or by someone else, and for businesses that want to keep gaining ground after launch.
Four ways to work on your visibility.
We can start with an audit or go straight to monthly work. The 30-minute call is there to decide.
01SEO audit
A full review of an existing website: indexing, performance, heading structure, tags, internal linking, structured data, content, and the competition on your keywords. You get a roadmap ranked by impact, to apply yourself or hand over to me.
02Monthly SEO
I work on the website every month: technical fixes, pages to create or rework, internal linking, tracking of rankings and of the enquiries they bring. A monthly call to read the numbers together and decide what comes next.
03Answer engines (GEO)
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews cite their sources. I structure your pages so they can be cited: direct answers, schema.org structured data, an llms.txt file, AI crawlers allowed in robots.txt.
04Local SEO and Google Business Profile
Categories, services, photos, reviews, and local pages linked to the website, to reach the top three on Google Maps in your area. That work is what put Sea Kayak Adventures in the local top 3 in 2 weeks.
What I look at, and which tools I use.
-
Search Console and Bing
Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools: queries, clicks and indexed pages, straight from the source.
-
GA4 and Tag Manager
To link a visit from Google to a call, a form or a sale.
-
Structured data
Schema.org (business, services, FAQ, breadcrumbs), so Google and AI tools read your pages without ambiguity.
-
Performance
Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed, measured on mobile, where most local searches happen.
-
Accessibility
A website that meets WCAG 2.2 is also better structured for crawlers: ordered headings, alt text, descriptive links.
Accessibility in detail
A measured result, not a promise of page one.
Sea Kayak Adventures: local top 3 for its main keyword in 2 weeks, and 75% more enquiries through the website. See the case study

-
Diagnostic call
30 minutes to understand your business, your customers and what you expect from Google. If you give me access, I look at your Search Console before the call.
-
Audit and priorities
I review the website and rank the actions by impact: what can be fixed in a day, what needs content, what can wait.
-
Delivery and follow-up
I apply the fixes or pass them to your developer, then track rankings and enquiries in a monthly review.
What I get asked most often.
How long does SEO take to show results?
It depends on the competition for your searches. Locally, results can come quickly: Sea Kayak Adventures reached the top 3 for its main keyword in 2 weeks. For competitive national searches, think in months. I give you an honest estimate after the audit.
Isn't SEO already included in your websites?
Yes: every website I build launches with technical SEO, GEO and an optimised Google Business Profile. This service is for websites that are already live, and for businesses that want to keep gaining ground after launch, with content and monthly work.
What is GEO?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) means making your pages easy to cite for answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews. The basics are close to SEO: clear content, direct answers, structured data. On top of that come a few specific settings, such as AI crawler access and the llms.txt file.
Do you work on WordPress or Shopify websites?
Yes. The audit looks at what Google sees, whatever the platform. I make the fixes myself when the platform allows it, or hand your developer a precise list.

-
Why isn't my website showing up on Google?
Usually because the page isn't indexed: Google hasn't crawled it yet, a noindex tag or robots.txt is blocking it, or Google treats it as a duplicate of another page. Search Console tells you page by page, in the page indexing report and the URL Inspection tool. Google also warns that it never guarantees indexing.
-
Core Web Vitals: which thresholds to aim for, and do they matter for SEO?
Google considers a page fast when its main content appears within 2.5 seconds (LCP), it responds to clicks within 200 milliseconds (INP) and its layout barely shifts (CLS under 0.1), measured across 75% of visits. These metrics are used in ranking, but Google reminds site owners that relevant content comes first.
-
Structured data: what does it really do for SEO in 2026?
Structured data describes a page's content in a format Google reads without ambiguity, preferably JSON-LD. It makes some rich results possible (logo, breadcrumbs, products) without ever guaranteeing them. It must reflect what the page actually shows. And for its AI features, Google states that no special markup is needed.
