01 — The context
The existing campaign for the Laser Socle program was generating leads, but poor-quality ones — the pixel wasn't operational and targeting was too broad (interests, education, job titles), diluting budget on a weakly qualified audience. Meanwhile the CAP aesthetics program had no active campaign at all.
02 — Before / after
| Before | After |
|---|---|
| Meta Pixel not operational | Pixel module fixed on the WordPress site |
| Targeting too broad (interests/education/job titles) | High-intent form to filter for quality |
| Unqualified leads on the Socle program | Targeting tightened, refocused on B2B |
| No campaign at all for the CAP program | New campaign launched for the CAP program |
03 — The result
Two programs managed in parallel: the CAP program filled with ~70 leads at €3.40 CPL, and the Socle program relaunched with a 22% CPL drop (€4.92, 45 leads) thanks to a fixed pixel and tighter targeting.
04 — My role
Growth Media Buyer — media management and tracking fixes run in parallel across two training programs.
05 — What I took away
A misconfigured pixel can wrongly shift the blame for underperformance onto targeting — verify technical reliability before reworking audience strategy.
